I used to imitate the organ on the Bernard Herrmann soundtrack in the scene with the last dinosaur to impress a girl at my first summer job at 14.  It was just such a cool sound.  First time I saw it...

I don't mind the use of Rhino Iguanas as Dimetrodons, at least the two animals (save the sail) had a fairly similar body structure. But in THE LOST WORLD a year later, they glued a Ceratopsian frill...
